Let’s talk batteries. Specifically, the one in your car. It’s got two terminals — one positive, one negative. You know this. You might not know that your brain (yep, that squishy electric command centre of yours) works in much the same way.

Let it all sit idle too long, and guess what? Just like that forgotten car in the garage, the battery goes flat. The body starts to seize up. The mind gets fuzzy. Your “get up and go” gets up and goes.

That’s the positive terminal. That’s where evolution lives.
