Two Ways to Engage to Help Emotional Crap Breakthrough
There are two ways for me to get in touch with you if I see you on the street.
I could ask, “How is your day?”.
You’d answer “Good” or “Not so good” or “crap”.
That will be an automatic habitual answer.
Or I could ask you, “What’s great about today?”.
That won’t have an automatic answer; your search for an answer. You dig deeper.
The Next Question for How to Get Yourself Out of a Bad Mood
Here’s another question I could ask. “What are you going through?”
You won’t answer this because of your internal emotional crap. You’ve either tried to fix that stuff, but it hasn’t worked. You may even be trying something new, a therapist, friend, or other professional.
The Three BIG Questions
Then if you want to move ahead and have an emotional crap breakthrough, you ask yourself these three life-changing questions……..
1. What ever happened to make me feel this way? What’s great about it?
2. So, when would NOW be a good time for me to move out of the way I’m feeling?
3. And what would be the first thing I could do to help myself with that?
In a few weeks, I’ll be explaining these questions. But, for now, if you’re going through crap, stop and one-by-one as ask yourself the questions by going to a quiet place and contemplating.
